Vice President, Projects & Resource Management - Lahore


Principal Roles and Responsibilities
·         A leadership role primarily responsible for planning, organizing, leading and delivering projects and programs efficiently and effectively
·         Plans, initiates, leads and monitors company-wide programs, initiatives and projects to meet the goals set by the top management
·         Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure clear identification, specification and common understanding of goals and requirements for programs and projectsn
·         Engages and coordinates with relevant stakeholders for project estimation (time, effort, duration) and requirements
·         Organizes and manages available resources to meet organizational and project goals to deliver quality products on time and on budget
·         Interface with top management, customers and other external entities on project matters
·         Establish project management best practices within the project management organization
·         Identifies, mitigates and reports risks to relevant stakeholders in a timely fashion
·         Involved in company-wide project resource planning and management to ensure timely introduction and efficient utilization of resources
·         Maintains a healthy team environment and motivates team members to maintain a high-energy and high-performance work culture
·         Tracks project progress to deliver quality work products on time
·         Provides regular status updates to management, adding clarity and visibility
·         Facilitates process improvement and establishment of high-performance standards
 
Required Skills & Qualities
·         BCS or an equivalent degree
·         10+ years experience in Software Engineering with at least 6 years in a project management role
·         Excellent project management and change management experience in a fast paced work context
·         Ability to see the big picture with strong business acumen
·         Excellent relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills
·         Proven leadership and team-building skills
·         Sound knowledge of software engineering methodologies and project management approaches
·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·         Domain knowledge of electronic transaction processing or stored value cards would be an added plus

·         Driven to succeed
