Professional Qualification / Experience

Experience & Education
·         MBA from a recognized university.  Additional qualification from CIPD, SHRM, Psychometrics, Compensation and Benefits etc., will be an added advantage
·         14+ years experience in FMCG sector with at least 2 years in a senior HR role

Job Responsibilities
·         Development and implementation of the HR strategy in the business unit, aligned to the business objectives
·         This position is responsible for managing the whole spectrum of the Human Resource function including recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, policies and procedures, performance management, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, and organizational development.
·         Be responsible for implementing Corporate HR Policies within the Business Units.
·         Be responsible in developing the headcount plan in respect of managers and workers in consonance with the organization structure templates, job classification and bands and in line with the business plans and budgets.
·         Carry out monthly reviews of headcount and proactively plan for recruitments in respect of employees including advance hiring for anticipated contract terminations and attrition.
·         Recruit for vacancies and anticipated vacancies ensuring compliance with profile specifications. Coordinate with Head HR for salary approval and appointment letters.
·         Assist the HR Head in running the performance management program in respect of setting KRA’s, midyear and Annual appraisals including dialogue with Business functional managers for calibrating relative performance and ratings distribution.
·         Ensure that employees are adequately trained to carry out their work in a safe manner and are also trained to handle emergencies such as fires and accidents.
·         Plan for periodic medical checkups and diagnose accident reports and illness statistics for preventive action.
·         Ensure the contractual performance for housekeeping, security, and employee transportation and residence camps, including welfare measures.
·         Maintain productive relationship with Labour, Health, Police, and Municipality and provide for public relations support to the Business Unit.
