A leading Contracting Company in Doha, Qatar is seeking candidates for the following position of Sr. Technical Engineer.

Requirements

     ·    All Nationalities
     ·    Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying
     ·    15-20 years work experience
     ·    A track record of working in contracting management / team leadership expertise
     ·    A track record of working in the Middle East is desirable
     ·    You will be a Technical Manager with extensive experience in major construction 
           projects on an international basis.
     ·    Your knowledge and understanding of international contracts and construction 
            standards must be strong and you need to be able to demonstrate a track record of 
            success within the organization.

Responsibilities:

      ·     Cost estimation and design if required, study and send inquiry to suppliers, review 
            of contract documents,
      ·     Preparation of technical submittals,
      ·     Prepare drawings and follow up approval, variation, if any.
      ·     Prepare cost budget, coordination with QC for timely inspection and dispatch of the 
            goods.
      ·     Prepare BOM according to approved drawings, negotiate with suppliers for discount, 
            prepare Purchase Orders, send MPO/LOI to suppliers, follow-up delivery as per 
            MPO.

Project Executions:

       ·    Kick off meeting with clients, technical compliance and clarifications
       ·    Prepare project executions schedule
       ·    Prepare final budget sheet for commercial department
       ·    Certify invoice made by commercial department
