Manager Legal Affairs



Job Responsibilities
   ·         To coordinate with the lawyers in different cities / follow up on cases.
   ·         To maintain files of all cases filed against the companies / employees, follow up on the 
              cases and keep management updated on the cases. 
   ·         Update Newsrooms on circulars / notices issued from the government from time to 
              time (Ministry of Information, PEMRA etc)
   ·         To obtain legal counsel from lawyers on issues arising from lawsuits. 
   ·         Represent the company in legal issues and in the Courts. 
   ·         Draft / Check agreements ( rental / consultants / vendors / purchases of property –                equipments etc) 
   ·         Follow up on Trade mark matters ( renewals / litigations / registration etc) with 
             Trade mark consultants – keep management updated on such matters, and maintain 
             all files. 
   ·         Maintain all Files / correspondence with Regulatory authorities, Trade bodies (APNS,
             PBA etc) - keep management updated. 
   ·         Keep management updated and maintain files on registrations of domain names, etc.  
             All internet registrations / renewals. 
   ·         Maintain / follow up of certificates ( ABC – Publishers etc) from Ministry of
             Information (Federal – Provincial)

Degree(s)/Major(s):     
   ·         An LLB from a reputable university/ foreign degree may be considered an added 
             advantage/ Post-graduate Qualification such as LLM/BVC
   ·         Has 5-6 years of relevant experience
