Academic Qualification(s):

• Preferably Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent of the degree in appropriate education.

Technical Skills.

• SQL Server 2005 DB Administration.
• Thorough knowledge of SQL server DB administration and SQL server analysis services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), deployment and performance management.
• Database administration, including tasks such as loading data, managing data security and user access, performance monitoring and tuning, and all aspects of data integrity, backup, recovery, user and developer support.
• Planning and maintenance of database capacity, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Familiar with all phases of database programming (for example, can assist programmers to troubleshoot and tune programs for the most efficient database usage).
• Thorough knowledge of the subject DBMS, DML (SQL), DDL, utilities, services, troubleshooting, architecture and syntax, etc.
• Expertise in host operating and networking environments to completely provide all required functions and services, including estimating and monitoring of all required hardware, coding and execution of administration jobs, in addition to monitoring and archiving backup files.

Management / Interpersonal Skills:

• Good analytic and decision-making skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Must be able to manage conflicts.

Experience:

• Overall 5 years +.
• 1 year experience in managing SQL SERVER in production environment.
• SQL Server DB Admin Certifications.
• Experience in managing a Data warehouse environment will be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to manage code from development environments to test and production systems.
