Job Description
A Senior Engineer with over 12+ years of experience in designing and implementing large software systems in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. A solid experience in Business Intellegence systems is a must. Strong experience in building Data models, data analytics platforms for capacity mangement, performance and SLA management is needed. Strong design and problem solving skills are essential, as well as an ability to quickly understand a wide variety of platforms.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Job Qualifications: - BS/B. Tech Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics.
- Solid foundation database theory, data warehousing , data analytics and data mining concepts.
- Proven experience in working on complex enterprise solutions.
- Proven experience in building a data mining and analytics solutions
- Proven experience in any one one of the Business Intelligence systems, preferebly Microstratergy.
- Good working knowledge on one of the Databases preferably on My SQL and Oracle
- Experience in peformance tuning and optimization of databases and queries.
- Good understanding of UNIX operating systems – Preferably Linux
- Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Job Qualifications: - - MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics
- - Domain knowledge of Business Intelligence is essential.
-- Proven experience in building capacity planning and mangement systems.
- - Broad knowledge of distributed system technologies and techniques.
- - Exposure to building systems to gather performance and availability metrics.
-- Exposure to programming in perl or php.
- - Demonstrated experience with source code control procedures and environments (cvs, subversion, perforce)
- - Experience with Agile/Scrum .
