Domain Knowledge Experience in selling into Hydrocarbon Processing Industries Offerings Knowledge Experience selling complex offerings including process technology, automation, software, catalysts, etc and / or engineering services to senior management levels at targeted accounts in specified offering area / market. Education BS Chemical Engineering, MBA preferred. Fluent English with excellent written and spoken skills.

Description

Applies the resources of the sales organization to market the organizations products and services through competitive pricing, technology, development of new business relations, and monitoring customer and competitor activity. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience.

Proposed Duties of the Position
 The Regional Sales Manager - Technology Sales is responsible for achieving annual and quarterly Technology sales objectives for specified accounts or vertical markets within the designated region. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the Regional Sales Director and members of the Technology Business leadership team in the development and execution of sales growth plans for technology licenses, basic engineering, proprietary equipment and other associated offerings and services in the specified accounts or vertical markets. The Regional Sales Manager - Technology Sales will develop and maintain close alignment with business unit proposal and sales coordination groups and also with sales groups from other KBR businesses and affiliates. The Regional Sales Manager - Technology Sales ensures compliance at all times with KBR code of business conduct.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
·         Technology Sales Quota: Is responsible to achieve a specified Sales Quota as established at the beginning of the year with the Regional Sales Director.
·         Account Planning and Development: Works with the Regional Sales Director and respective Technology Area Leaders in developing a 3-Year account growth strategy and associated yearly account sales plans.
·         Sales Operations: Works under direction from Regional Sales Director in providing necessary quarterly and yearly forecast information for assigned accounts.
·         Customer Management: Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction both during and after implementation of projects in assigned accounts. Maintains relationships and provides feedback at all time from existing customers.
·         Sales Operations, Proposals and Marketing Support: Responsible for technology sales forecasting, technology sales pipeline management and co-coordinating technology proposals for regional clients. Responsible for regional competitor analysis and regional customer analytics required for yearly updates to strategic growth plans.
·         Alignment with other KBR regional sales: Where possible participates with other KBR regional sales in developing and maintaining consistencies across sales both with respect to customer interaction and with respect to KBR internal systems, processes and tools. Maintains at all time behaviors from technology sales which aligns with overall KBR goals and objectives.
·         Compliance: Maintains full compliance with KBR code of business conduct. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Proactively directs continuous improvement efforts in the areas of risk reduction and the elimination of potential hazards.
·         Measurement and Rewards: Responsible for a quarterly technology sales quota and other key sales objectives as established by the Regional Sales Director.
