Aga Khan University invites applications for the following positions:

Associate / Assistant Professors in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine / Infectious Diseases
Candidates must have completed structured postgraduate training programme in their respective fields and possess FCPS, MRCP, American Boards or equivalent qualification. 

Applicants for Associate Professor should have at lest 8 years of teaching / research experience in an HEC Research experience in an HEC recognized University or postgraduate institution, with 5 years post-terminal experience of teaching. 

They should also have a minimum of 5 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC with at least 2 of these publications in the last five years. 

Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least 2 years experience as Senior Instructor/equivalent.

Assistant Professor/ Senior Instructor, Haematology
Candidates must have completed a structured postgraduate, training programme and possess FCPS, MRCPath, American Board PhD in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent qualification. They should also equivalent qualification. 

They should also have at least one year experience in adult stem cell research related techniques including stem cell isolation, expansion and storage. 

Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least 2-3 years experience at the level of Senior Instructor/ Fellow or equivalent in a reputable institution, and should have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications and/or contribution to education.

Assistant Manager, Clinical Quality Department of Medicine
The appointee will support continuous clinical quality improvement. 

He/she will be responsible for collecting and reporting data on Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation and clinical quality indicators, coordinating monthly mortality reviews, improving medical record documentation and assisting clinical sections in audit of clinical practice guidelines and other quality issues.
Candidates must have MBBS degree; Masters in Business Administration / Hospital Administration or Health Policy Management will be preferred with at least 2-3 years work experience in a hospital environment, working with physicians and dealing with issues of clinical quality. 

Certifications in clinical quality / auditing are desirable.

Senior Medical Officers, Medical Intensive Care Unit
Candidates should have an MBBS, preferably with FCPS Part 1. 

They should have a minimum of 4 years of experience with expertise in Endotracheal intubations and placement of central and arterial lines. 

The incumbents will be responsible for providing care to patients admitted in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and for supporting the functions of the Rapid Response Team.
