Malakand PA. Dir Lower and Or Upper (July 2009 – June 2013), is interested to invite applications for the following position.    ‘

Civil Engineer Qualification

·         At least Bachelor degree in Engineering from a recognized University.

·         At least 5 years working experience, preferably in the development sector.

·         Either Domiciled n or having work experience n Malakand division, preferably  district Dir Upper

·         Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (MS  Office or other database program)

·         Excellent spoken Pashto and good spoken and written English skills.

·         Ability to work n team and willing to travel within Malakand Division with overnight stays.

·         Willingness to work and live in Upper Dir (duty station).

Job Description

Functions of Civil Engineer are briefly described below:

In coordination with the team of Engineers, the CIVIL Engineer

·         Assesses project proposals and supervises the implementation of infrastructure projects including regular field visits

·         Ensures good quality of work as per specifications and drawings and keeps technical records

·         Maintains profe$9onai relation with all the stakeholders relevant to infrastructure projects

·         Trains community members and site supervisor during implementation of infrastructure projects

·         Reviews design problems at sites and resolve it

·         Documents project activities and supports project monitoring

·         Facilitate meetings of the communities with partners and delegations

Remuneration and Benefits

·         Salary will be negotiated based on experience and presentation
